As a community of young digital artists, Worth1000 is a creative
hotspot and a generator of many of the viral images that appear
on the web. It is very important to us that advertisements enhance
the creative atmosphere instead of disrupting it. We therefore try to make sure
that any onsite advertising is for brands we as a company support,
and that the advertisements would be of interest to our members.
Formats & Technical Specifications

Every page has a 728x90 (leaderboard) advertisement, located above the fold in a clear and clean location.
Some pages have a 300x600 (half-page) advertisement, located above the fold on the right side of the page.
Some pages have room for 8 125x125 (button) advertisements, located above the fold on the right side of the page.
Some pages will alternate between displaying 300x600 and the block of 125x125 ads.

Specifications
- 728x90 ads must not be greater than 100K in size.
- 300x600 ads must not be greater than 200K in size.
- 125x125 ads must not be greater than 30K in size.
- Ads may include multimedia flash content and/or slow animation.
- Ad content should not be designed to irritate (i.e. no flashing or noise).
- Ads must be family friendly and may not contain nudity or potentially offensive content.
- Ads must be preapproved for content. 2 working days lead time is needed.
Advertising Zone Rates

Advertisers may choose to target specific advertisement zones over two criteria
(Page Topic and page type). Different zones carry different rates.
CPM Insertion Orders
Monthly Flat Rate Insertion Orders
Ads will appear in rotation, one ad per location per page. You may submit more than one ad for appearance in the rotation but it will be treated as if it is a separate campaign in terms of ad tracking and pricing. If we have ten advertisements in the rotation on the site of equal value, then one of your ads will appear every tenth page visited. If you are number ten in the rotation, this means that one of your ads will appear each time ten pages have been accessed from the server regardless of the number of pages accessed by individuals. The rotation is based on overall number of web page accesses and not on the number of pages accessed by a particular client.
You may purchase more than one spot in the rotation. The rates for multiple spots are simply multiples of the base advertising fee. If you should buy two spots in the rotation, then your ad will appear twice for every time the other ads in the rotation appear once.
Ad visibility is given priority based on the price the advertiser pays. For example, in the 125x125 block, the higher the amount that an advertiser is paying (above the minimum CPM amount), the higher up in the block that advertiser will appear. When prices are equal, precedence is given to ads that have been running for a longer time period.
Campaigns may be scheduled around specific dates. Advertisers will also have the option to pause and resume campaigns as well. Please note that an advertisement's priority is subject to whatever pricing currently exists at the point a campaign is resumed.
We do permit advertisers to purchase monthly exclusives on specific locations, wherein their ad will be shown exclusively in a particular slot. Rates may be negotiated with us directly.
As an advertiser you will be given your own account name and password and a URL where you can see overall and daily statistics of the number of exposures your ads have received, along with the number of "click throughs" to your web site.

Advertising Policies

Payments
Short-term campaigns must be paid in full at least 1 week prior to their activation date. Invoices will be distributed.
Payments will be made online using a secure form or by check. If payment is made by check then please allow an extra two weeks for processing.
Long-term campaigns must be paid monthly, by the first of every month.
Ad Cancellations
Ad campaigns may be cancelled with 2 weeks written notice and outstanding campaign inventory after that 2 weeks will be refunded.
