I was fortunate to at one point in my career work with the man that designed Slimer for Ghostbusters. One of my coworkers at the shop also happened to be the guy literally in the State Puff Marshmallow-Man suit in the film.

Another angle with a light inside ..... yea...doesn't do much.
Another pumpkin I finished but too late for the contest My daughter wanted a Rapunzel pumpkin... so I took a stab at it.

While the illo is "udder-ly" fantastic... The size of the table and the mug feel way out of scale. Was this intentional?

Actually..... It's there. camera right left pant leg. Inseam on the bottom overlapping the left shoe. It is in shadow but it is in fact there. As is the head wound from the accident on the toilet. As is the salmon colored satin lining of the coat (done with gloss paint mixed in.) Also that's the exact pattern on his shirt down to the number of back and forth squiggles (6 back and forth strokes per squiggle.) He does not have the two watches, one per arm as the cuffs of the gloves cover them from that angle...but if it had made sense they would have been there.

Any other in universe exclusions I missed?

I had a heck of a good time making this one. BTTF is one of my all time faves, so this one was a labor of love. I was just thrilled I got a decent likeness!

I thought this was one of Henson's masterpieces. What's not to love with David Bowie as the Goblin King, and a young Jennifer Connelly in a fantasy world filled with characters from Jim Henson's Creature shop. I ADORE that movie. Well played.

My favorites were Ludo the giant furry guy...(who easily could have been the influence for Pixar's Sully from Monsters Inc.) and the room where the walls were made out of hands that formed faces. I thought that scene was especially inspired!

well it's a wonder I don't chop much anymore. I ain't saying sour grapes....but I haven't gotten anything with a 6 in it in.......... can't remember.

Yup, I agree, I hated it the second I got the paint on it. But..... that's the trick about real world art..... no undo button!!

As for the flat VS glossy paint, I grabbed the glossy white by mistake, and it was mixed with the greeny flesh tone which gave him that awful sheen. I had intended for only the hair to be glossy, but once I saw it photographed.... I pretty much was unhappy across the board. Ah well. ah well.
