This is for you mennufer. :P
Made out of a 5x3x3 block of maple that was a piece of a rejected baseball bat blank. I love working with reclaimed and reused wood. The knobs are tiny scraps of walnut from another project that I chucked into the drill press and shaped with sandpaper. My fingertips are a wreck. :)Finished with thinned semi-gloss varathane.I was going to go with some more exotic wood accents but the design of this "armoire" called for simplicity, I think.I wanted to show a shot of the back too, but there's a 2 picture rule.{EDIT: Here's plans if anyone wants them: http://www3.telus.net/wood/Cracked%20Band%20Saw%20Box%20Instruction.htm I just scaled them down to the size needed for this contest.
