thank you, Gypzee and natnat4ever! Yes, it was difficult!

Wolfert, I didn't do anything to modify the source, so the hairline is how is was in the source, sorry.

Kook... thanks, yes... that's me. Always going for the challenge. When oh when will I learn! I should have left her hair brown, eh? Live and learn! Thanks for your comments. And don't sell yourself short, I've seen your chops and you could easily handle a colorization. Let me know if you are interested in a H2H, I'm always up for another challenge!

This is a different take on the contest, but sill well done. I think your lighting is very pretty!

I like your lighting, I think it looks really good. I do think finding a better background sky would have enhanced your image as real stars make a difference, though I applaud your attempt! Santa on the roof has a bit of white left around him. To help with that, try zooming in and mask right to the red.

I like love your lights on the house and your snowman is great. The snow doesn't look realistic to me. The snow on the ground is a tad bit too blurry and the snow that is falling doesn't really look like snow. What did you use to make your snow? There's a Snow Tutorial here at Worth I'd check out. I know from personal experience, it is harder than it looks.

I think this is a pretty darn good first entry, especially for a first entrant that didn't have much time! I like it! My only nit-pick is the lights don't really look lit up.

Welcome to worth, I look forward to seeing more from you!

lol, I love your signage! Nice job at placing your lights. I think making them glow a bit would have added to the picture, but still very nicely done.

Great concept! I think the lighting needs to be a bit brighter though as the overall image is a bit dark. Love the SC in the center of the landing!

I really like your picture! I think maybe less snow coming down so we can see the house a bit better, but hey... who can control the weather! lol I love your icicles! Overall, a really nice chop!

I like your day to night and your reflection in the lake is neat. I think the lighting inside is a bit too much, maybe lowering the saturation or lowering the opacity?

Great source pic! Until I looked at your sources, I thought you added the tree lights and lit up the house as well! I like your additions. I think additionally, maybe lighting up the area a bit with the shine from the bulb decorations in the yard.

Good job! I like the out of bounds feel to this. Your daughter is a cutie! I remember what you started with (maybe posting your sources so others could see as well)... the board turned out really well too!

Good luck and you are most welcome. I'm glad to have been able to help!

This is very nicely done and hey, he looks edible, I'll take a piece!

I think maybe a bit more shadow under the lip of the plate the far left to add some depth and a bit under the santa hat as well.

Overall, great chop!
