The spikes don't look attached.

I love the piece above the eyebrow. I think you should have done the same with the side of the glasses. Love the rivets, but "lines" or "stitches" that come off the glasses don't look realistic, rather rand drawn as an after-thought.

What is holding the screw in her nose? I think to make this work better, you should have brought it on through her skin.

OUCH! My only nit pick here is the holes where the pin enters and exits the skin. The holes in the skin doesn't look realistic enough... it's as if her skin has grown to the pin.

The masking around the jewelry that goes from her head to her chest is poorly masked in addition to it not looking as if it attaches... more like it fades into the skin. The flower in her hair has a lot of masking issues leaving a huge halo effect. Lastly, her earring just fades into her ear instead of attaching through or into her ear.

This is a decent chop. My only concern is when you zip her head back up, isn't her skin going to rip? I think you should have left a bit of slack in her skin.

The watch is not in focus and there is a lot of blurring where you've attached it to your arm. The stitches look great, but the incision doesn't look realistic. You've also left a lot of residue above the arm. Be careful with your masking as things such as this really take away from the desired results.

I appreciate what you were attempting to do here. Unfortunately, what you did to her arm isn't clear as her arm is too far away. I do like the corset!

These shades do not look as if they are implanted. Rather, they appear to just be resting against the face. I would suggest either riveting or sewing the sunglasses onto her face to make it look as if they are implanted.

Unfortunately, due to the poor resolution (due I believe to the fact you attempted to enlarge the photo) and blurriness of the photo, it isn't really possible to see what you have done. Try for high res photo-stock and stay away from blurring.

You have some masking issues, especially around the feet. Additionally, your rope of lights isn't consistant in size and color, definitely not giving it a photo-realistic look. I actually think the outlet looks pretty good. I think maybe taking an actual electrical cord plug and colorizing it would have helped with the actual plug.

First off, welcome to worth.

Secondly, it appears as if there may be a bit of a blending issue in matching skintones on the new face you pasted over the old.

Lastly, if you think it is too simple, look at other entries in advanced contests and study those that win. Mostly they do much more than copy and paste to rate so high amongst the entries. Check out the animation behind the first Darth Maul entry in this contest to see the steps were taken. As they say, if it appears too good to be true, or in this case, too simple, it usually is.

a litte advice being that his is your first entry. First of all, don't tell us that your entry is crappy, you are pushing your opinion into our heads... leading the witness so to speak. Secondly, if you think it is crappy, save your 10 credits or someone else's that may sponsor you and don't enter. Improve upon it and wait until another contest that it fits comes along. thirdly, as far as first entries go, it isn't all that bad.

Welcome to worth.

Why is she so dark? I can also see some blurring on the outside of her left arm that looks as if it might have been left over from your masking.

I think lightening this up and putting more definition around the hood of the cape would have made this a better chop. The way it is now, it looks like the hood is his hair.

Nice attempt at the plastic look. Unfortunately, the perspective is off on his face, throwing his beard off or vice versa making this look like an obvious chop.

Unfortunately, this image is to small to really see well. I can tell that Hermione's head is too large for her body, but that's about it.

Please use larger source images. Small entries usually rate low due to our inability to see your work.

There's an outline of white that you missed when masking. Good masking skills are essential in an advanced contest. In addition, there is a halo around his head where I assume you were trying to fix his hair. There is a great tutorial on fur/hair in the tutorials section here on the site.
