This was a great competition. Thanks to PixelDust MT for the gold star and a very, very special thanks to capriccio for her critique.

Not sure about the pinkish areas on the gold bands. Otherwise, nice image.

This seems to have a yellow cast over it, or it's that her face seems too dark.

One thing really jumps out and that's the hair netting. The spaces on her right side wouldn't be colored because it is open space and should be see-through like you did on her left side.

The parts on her right shoulder that are colored in aqua are really horizontal bands in the robe if you look closely at the original. There are also horizontal bands on the other side as well.

I think this one is very good. The only thing I would suggest would be some brighter colored stones to make it "pop" a bit more.

This is good however, there is too much shadow on her face.

I think you could have picked a source image that gave you more opportunity to use a lot of different colors. But, this is a good colorization.

How can it have printing on it - Oakleh?? Love the golds and the work with all the fine hairs.

Great detail work on this. I don't want to know what it really is. Nice choice of complimentary colors, too.

This is my favorite. I love the colors and the way you subtely faded the colors into each other. You can almost "feel" the softness.

It could be an eel with its mouth open coming out of an undersea cave! Nice work.

Overall, nice work. The center area under the ornamentation is actually her dress when you look closely at the original and compare the cloth content. The stones could be a shinier and brighter. And I think the back wall looks strange. In Cleopatra's time, the stones would have been pristine.

I think you missed some opportunities here to really make the image pop. The silver robe just doesn't go with all the gold ornamentation. The stones on the robe have no striking colors. As well as the stones in the crown. And her face has too much of a goldish/bronze cast to it.

I love that you did research on Cleo. I like that painting of color on the gold pieces. The only thing I would suggest is to give the stones more shine and highlight to make them pop more.

I love what you did the with hair net. The striping looks very Egyptian. Very nice.

Overall, a very nice image. I like the blue hair net. I noticed a few things, though. The top stones in the crown seem to disappear in the dark background. The red stones in the cape are barely visible on our left side.

Nice image. Just a few minor things I see like the green part on the top of the right side shoulder (her left). I also think the stone need more shine and pop to them.
