It would help not to just follow the lines of the gun, ubt to extend the foil beyond it somehow to looked more wrapped.

For critique: In this case I would say the idea needs a little work.. The barrel within the banana would be nice and obvious, readily recognized, but the addition of the gun handle takes away from the idea.

It's hard to tell from the size of the image, the extraction technique may need some improvement. If using photoshop, I would recommend the extract tool with some tweaks. I have a site that explains it: Link

Good idea! Different from the usual entries. As a critique, I would suggest removing the colors and keeping all a uniform color like peas

It woudl helpto decrease the overall brightness of the gun to match the lower lighting of the picture - either through image-adjustment highlight/shadow or perhaps selective color - whites

I think a boost to the saturation to make orange brighter could help improve the color and make it look more orange like

The biggest problem in photoshopping is matching the lighting. In this case there is a strong highlight on the m&m picture that is not present on the gun, so it stands out.

I think the biggest issue with this piece is the idea behind it. it would make sense for the handle on the grenade to be part of the handle of the pilers, in which case making the pliers larger and adjusting the angle could help sell the idea more.

In this case, the boarder is actually too small to see well. A helpful hint would be to either step back from the image or reduce it to 100 pixels and see if you can still tell what it is.

I think the biggest issue with the picture is that the shark has an obvious underwater hue that woudl not be present in the tank, which is very clear. It would require getting rid of the greens and trying to achieve a more natural coloring
