Near perfect, everything is so spot on, but the reflection is in the wrong place :( Shame, the rest looks so good

Some sharpening through unsharp mask, or using high pass on a new copy layer and setting it to overlay would help bring out the details on the camel.

Lacks pizzazz, but looks like a real photograph.

I really liked this, thought it would do better. The bold lines and contrasting delicate shading of the skull makes for a nice image, though the 'tendrils' seem to require more work/thought behind them as they seem hastily drawn in comparison to the more careful work on the skull.

I'm surprised this didn't do better. The outlines are bold and confident, with nice detail work on the face and shading in other areas. The more I look at this the more I suspect an eraser never touched this, which is very impressive. You seem to have a natural, very confident mastery of drawing which would lend itself well to the comic book world. I'm guessing you would have no trouble producing a quality superhero or villain and repeat the figure in different poses. A great skill to have if you are looking into work in the comic industry, or animation. I could never produce such a detailed, proportioned figure without the telltale scribble of circles and lines.

Beautiful image, really great style, but I find the subject to be not very clear. The idea of a figure isn't well realized, and therefore the idea of 'flight' is lost. In abstract terms, I see more of a crucifixion then one in flight

eh well first I got sick and slept for 20 hours straight, then I gave up when my workload reached well over 40 hours a week with only one day off (to sleep!). Your speculation however is eerily something I can picture happening (I actually DID get bitten by a student right in the stomach)

I have looked at this picture so many times, and can't believe in any way that you got fourth. Forget the Meowza fans, this should have taken first easily and I keep coming back to look at this image. You are an amazing artist, wish you'd come back to show more of your incredible work.

Read your comments, don't believe the hype! Adding more coloring and stuff would destroy this. Worth might not be fond of minimalism, but this piece is the most effective one of all the piece in terms of character and personality. Stick with it man, you have a talent with what you are doing, no matter where you place

It seems oversaturated, and might be better with more subtle coloring instead of the high contrast, high saturation used.

um.. I'd be willing to put money on this being Meowza, if not, you've really managed to capture his painting style!

I LOVE this!!!! The pose has so much personality! My fave of the bunch, I love love love the character shown in this, it just screams 'scene!' instead of the standard 'portrait' of a sexy woman in a dull typical boring pose. This one just hits you straight in the face with a BAM!

Nice gravity defying look to this shot!

Love the comp, but I find the depth of field rather severe :(

THe processing on this one is nice, but I find the thrown shadow from the (bike?) to be somewhat distracting, and would be nice to take out

Tough job to do with a mouse, you should consider learning how to use the pen tool, witch makes, clear, even lines easy to do no matter what you use

It's beautiful image, but I find it difficult to see as a self portrait as opposed to a more abstract representation. Great style for illo but a little difficult to see in terms of this theme.
