Great image! As a critique, the dark shadow seems a little unnecessary. Decreasing it's opacity to make it lighter could be more appropriate considering the low light.

Great ambitious entry that with some corrections could be even better. For one thing the odd pink halo surrounding the edges seem to suggest that your extraction technique might have been an issue. If trying to do a glow, try the layer effect inner glow and increase the size to give a nice softer glow. A better source on the satellite could help as well to have it come in clearer.

It's an interesting beast, but I find it rather unclear in terms of it's design. It would be interesting to see it against it's 'good side' to show the battle of the two sides of the mind

I'm as impressed with this image as I am with the variety of media used. You've shown in every part of it new levels of it's basic meaning - the ugliness behind the pretty face. I especially like the poor writhing man 'drowning' in the masses of the scaly beast, there, but chained to it's hiding place in the back of the mind, perhaps never to be accessed, just despised.

What's creepy about this is the almost childlike, playful way she is doing is, with a sort of naive innocence the way a little kid would play with a bug
