Thanks for the comments and votes everyone. They always mean a lot to me. Also, talk about ending a dry spell...This is my first adv fx gold since Nov 2009, whew, feels good to finally end it.

OMG! This is beyond fantastic. That lighting you added to your dragon couldn't be better. I am not going to be surprised one bit if this is by far one of the highest scoring entries of the whole lot. Super amazing work. This is gonna be tough to beat.

This image makes me laugh for some reason. (in a good way though) I think its the classic green aliens you have created. I also love that little ship you created, the light coming out of the back of it is superb!

It's really nice that you have created a completely different painting here. I love the work you did with the dress, it looks very natural. I am just afraid, I feel like it was taken a little too far from the original. It's almost as if the girl and tiger were created first and the painting was just an afterthought. I think i would have just liked to have seen just a tad more interaction between your subjects and the painting you chose to chop.

WOW! Super cool. You did an absolutely amazing job giving him a mirrored look. The reflections seem to work out just great. I am in agreement, however, with some of the other comments though. I'm not sure all the red lasers really bring anything to the table. I think they helped make the reflection look more believable, however, I would have liked to have seen a version without them, or at lease without that many of them.

Very nice, that hint of green really takes this painting to a whole new place. Great job! It might have been cool if maybe one of the guys in the painting were being sucked up by that beam of light, but still, this is a super cool chop.

I think this might be my fav in the whole lot. The way you integrated that octopus into the scene is just amazing. If I didn't know better, I would have thought this was the original painting, it all just comes together so flawlessly. Congrats in advance, I am positive we will be seeing you in the next round.

Its a good idea. I like your start, unfortunately, it does come off as a bit unfinished. It's too bad, I would have really liked to have seen this one taken to the next level.

LOL! She is just too cool. It must have taken you forever to find all those different birds and then mask them, and then adjust them to fit into this scene. It was worth it though, you have come up with a gorgeous entry. Good luck, I hope you do well.

Awesome! I like this approach to the contest. Instead of modifying an existing painting, I like how instead, you have simply added elements to your painting to make it a completely different entity. It looks very natural. I also love the little bit of added action with his tongue in mid-flight. Great details, great chop.

Great concept! I love the idea, and the painting you chose is perfect for it. Great work, I especially like the unicorn in the background, very smart.
