When just a young girl, Agael was a superb hunter and fisher. It was a tragic morning, when the town folks discovered that she had been attacked by a rogue male seal while hunting. Her body was never discovered and it remains a mystery to this day as to what happened. It has been reported that on some late nights on the frozen ice, her spirit can sometimes be seen leading the way for stranded hunters, clearing a way for them to travel. She is now known as the ice spirit-Agloolik.
