I was trying to picture what some eccentric old money victorian billionare adventurer/explorer scientist would have sitting around in one of his mansions.

gotta love when you find inspiration in time...

Although this is so not what I usually do, I am feeling really good right now.

I created these two images separately and merged them to create the final.

Inspired by the child catcher in the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", who scared the life out of me when I was little.

I'm embarassed to have to include my incredible horrible initial sketch with a bad guy I swear I didn't intend to look like Michael Jackson and a Wizard of Oz monkey (another source of childhood nightmares) I ended up scrapping.
