Is this a tribute to the famous Bigpeeler entry? :-)

Sure seems like it... for all the good it did me. :)

Too cool. You did a great job with the texture. I'd love to know how you can do that.

Thanks, the texture did come out nice. The bug itself had no texture, just a shiny smooth surface. So I took the man's facial texture and cloned it on a new layer all over bug parts, then blended it in with overlay.

The sharpen-filter is such a giveaway... :) Grat work. As always...

I'm in love with my sharpen-filter. It's a sickness...

Now... will you please try to end the year with a gold! Canvas Earth is coming up!

So... How far is the beach from your house in Westwood? :)

Eight kilometers straight down Sunset Boulevard. And almost eighty degrees with two weeks to Christmas...

More of a "final photo" than a "blooper", but still an excellent entry :) The sand and water drops on the polaroid are especially well done.

Ah, but here's the story... Mom, alerted by the little one's cries, scrambled to safety, while Dad -- fixated on the developing Polaroid -- rode the wave all the way to Oakland!

Nice work, although the perspective on the kid's finger is a bit off. Better executed than the exact same idea, which won the first Vacation Bloopers contest, but still not original.

I can see your point about the kid's finger (drew it by hand... yikes!). Not convinced about the "exact same idea", but I'll take it under consideration.
