very nice shot. the 2 things that could be improved though are both environment related. try to get the background a true white (you'd then not require a border at all and have a really powerful image), and more difficult, but try to use a cleaner shooting location. the reflections of the open doorway & shelving can be distracting. still, good job though!

i missed voting on this contest. this also would've been my choice for the top spot. good capture of a fast moving game with both characters showing 100% commitment. the DoF is as expected for sports shots and i don't find the arm on the right a distraction. it brings a nice claustrophobic feel to the shot which you wouldn't get if it weren't there

easily the best here. the tree makes a world of difference. without the foreground interest it provides the shot would have nowhere near the same impact.

best subject here in my book, just a shame it appears slightly out of focus. upsized crop from the original?

i don't think the setting sets the 4x4 off too well i'm afraid. if it were clambering up a steep incline or powering through a stream it would be way more effective. as it stands, it looks very cold and dull and wouldn't persuade me to part with my hard earned.
