- learn how to do shadows
- learn how to find better quality source images

This Google search and morgueFile are a good start for the source images, this tutorial should get you started on the masking and while you're there check out the other tutorials.

one of the steps in PhotoShop you should definetely learn is resizing before you save as jpeg

i like how you rearranged the digits so that it reads as a believable weight.
i just hope that's not kilo's ;)

the real bug and the clock bug look flat and the car bug is badly cut.
the woodcut is a nice touch but there's something wrong with it, i don't know, maybe the placement, the size,...
i really like the bending and i think this is a great idea but then again i'm a huge escher fan

get rid of the jaggies & tone down the white so it doesn't look like the light is coming from the left or change the position of the figure so the surface actually is hit by light

This is what Escher would have made if he were alive today.

edit: I spent more than an hour staring at this in awe, thinking about a clever comment to describe what I felt when seeing this and the above was all I could come up with...

i love the atmosphere, but the monster is a little sharp around the edges in full view, he could have used some blur

If you are talking about the shadows: I have no idea what you mean, I didn't change anything there.
If, on the other hand, you meant that I changed the foreground colors to match the background light: I'm glad somebody noticed.

she's not very waterproof with a hole in her head, is she.
would have loved to see waterdrops on the implants.

the reflection of the bottle is at an odd angle.

if the transer is at 41%, why is he still 99% there?
