It's not distored, it's the high angle. That's how it was shot. It's full frame- no cropping.

The lighting is nice, but the composition is a bit boring. I don't like the crop, and everything is just straight on with no context. What about setting it on a table with a colorful table cloth... or on the beach... something other than a plain purple background.

I believe we have had a contest similar to this one, but I think it would be fun anyways.

This one poses an unfair advantage- there will be a large group of people simply unable to attempt this contest.

I think the participation would probably be pretty low on this one.

Might be hard to get a lot of participation on this one. There aren't really very many castles in the USA.

Lighting and exposure are what is bringing this image down. The masking and posing is excellent.
