My fave so far (half done). The reflections look good. Two points: 1) The top of the buoy looks very soft. 2) I think you are revealing a bit more of the red bands on the far side than you would actually be able to see. I understand why you did it, but based on how straight the bands look with respect to the camera angle, I think they'd nearly eclipse the far side.

Not sure this fits the contest idea of swapping a bubble for something else, but it's pretty.

Not sure what's going on in the lower right... It looks like the collar of a sweater, but it doesn't match the clothing on the left.

The edges look very fuzzy. Although bubbles have all sorts of distortions and refractions in them, the edges are pretty sharp I think.

Very nicely done. I'm amused that another entry used the same head. Good luck in the voting.

I almost did a portrait of Darwin, but I wasn't sure people would get it.

The whiskers look great. I know they took a lot of work.

Great. Reflection is a nice tough. This would be my first pick if the arms had a matching reflection and a shadow, and if the reflection was faded a bit as it got further away. Still really like it.

Technically, everything looks very good. It just looks like he's about to land on top of a hard surface. There doesn't seem to be enough time/space for him to get back in before impact... or something. Ouch. Very good photoshopping.

Cute. But the man appears to have a crease running through him at the edge of the photo. I think also giving him a "real" shadow (instead of just layer blending modes drop shadow or whatever) would add a lot.

Very nice. I think it might look a bit better if the top of her head didn't hit the border of the frame exactly.

Very unique idea. I especially like that you can see that one of the other images on the role is also a snake. Great idea. I think it would look a little better if you could see a little more of the snake a little more clearly in the film. As is, it looks a little bit stuck onto the surface. Very nice.

I think the hand and the camera would cast a shadow onto the keyboard.

Welcome. It looks (to me) like the shadow on the right side of the ladybug should be displaced a bit more because she seems to be elevated off of the photo plane a bit. Very pretty.

Beautiful! Only one thing... the shadows from the ropes on the left--there's no indication that there's a surface there for them to be cast upon. I think you'd be better off just leaving them off. Then all of your shadows are falling to the right so it's more consistent anyhow. Still lovely.

The reflection might look better if it faded as it got further away from the boat.

Could use some transparency underwater and some reflections. For the "rooster tail" I'd probably try to find a source.
