Another minor quibble. Ratios don't become positive or negative, they just get further from 1 in either direction (assuming the ratio is being expressed as a fraction). Unless the star was or is actually losing money.

This begs the question: for how long does a child star's Coleman Ratio need to dip below 1 for them to achieve "former" status? Miley Cyrus, for instance, is at the top of her game. How long do we give her to jump the shark and begin the long slide into coke-snorting, shoplifting oblivion?

It seems a difficult unit to keep track of, but no doubt the tabloid press will devote legions toward keeping minute records and reporting accordingly. Thanks to you, they now have purpose-built terminology. :)

I think that it should be their highest rate of earnings on or before their 18th birthday. So with the kids on the Harry Potter movie, the Coleman number will be the number as calculated from the year before their 18th birthday, but with Gary Coleman's case, it would be at his peak income during "diff'rent strokes".

Great concept, but the gearstick does not look quite right, it is on backwards, and it does not look like a panel set into the horse, the blending is too soft.
