I like the first one better myself but thought I'd better provide a less understated option for the client in case. Although, since I've been marked unpaid, I guess it's all a moot point.

I bet this would've looked a lot nicer without the artifacts from compression. Was it a JPEG when you uploaded it?

I love the idea of the film/smoke. Not sure that the image wouldn't have been clearer if you'd used a simple candle.

Not on fire with the colours but love the idea!
