but anyway, congratz! splendid image. always tricky with an icon like rincewind, we all see him a little differently (personally i think of him as having an ashen beard, straggly, patchy and thin - like it's quite unwell.

i can't tell you how pleased i am you got a 9+ too. the whole way through this contest i was ahead i was anticipating and prepared to concede the lead at some point because i love this. its a super painting, its sexy and its delicious and i hope you feel as great about getting a niner as i do because this pic totally deserves it

Its the first time i've picked up a pen and decided to draw/paint something completely freehand for many years. before then i used to draw and paint manga-ish pin-ups like this sometimes un-digitally, so for my first proper foray into digital drawing i decided to use no refs to gauge how rusty i was with form and stuff(until i couldn't remember what the moon looked like :D ) and i was pretty pleased its partly like riding a bike - except not quite, every line and stroke of paint got done 3,8 or more times. this pic took a reeeeeally long time :zombie: . thanks for the theme really, it took bewbs to get my arse in gear :D . and i'm so so chuffed to get a score like this.

when i was choosing which pic to do, i had a feeling this source might produce the winner - it's certainly produced my favourite. I couldn't see the colours in it though so went for one i could. colour me impressed! great work.
