Watercolor on gessoed illustration board.This time I tinted the gesso with a raw sienna pigment before coating the board.Lost my whites, so I applied white liquitex gesso to bring some back.Random sponging, scratching and scrubbing.Someday, I will learn how not to overwork. :)Reference photosGood luck to the other fine artists in this competition.
