My original entry "SnailGiraffe" was flagged for disqualification as the snail is neither a mammal nor insect. It is in fact, a gastropod.So, rather QUICKLY, the world witnessed the birth of the "Locustiraffe"*... who is both a Mamsect and Insmal I might add.However, after falling in love with the SnailGiraffe when creating him (obviously, he is pretty cute), and having my image reinstated into the competition, I decided it would only be fair for him to hitch a ride on his "cousin's" back in the final entry...Sources* The name "Locustiraffe" may appear to have French origins, but the creature is said to be native to South Africa...
