This photo was shot near a local castle, with permission of the park authorities and the fire department!
I made the torch myself, with a branch, candle wax, wire and taper. The dress is a second-hand from Ebay.
You cannot believe how much attention my model attracted : every jogger and stroller stopped and watched, and they all had the same question : "Is it for Halloween?"

Only one light source used in taking this photograph.

'Tis the season for Giving, and giving gifts to the little ones in our lives is one of the best traditions. There's nothing like seeing the light in their eyes, and the excitement on their faces.

Most fun shoot ever. I used a strong fill-in flash to balanace out the harsh sunlight, and a polarizer to darken the sky. It was worth the two hours lying on my back in snow getting jumped on ;)
