Materials: Mud, glorious mud! Flower petals, pine nuts, wild grasses, crushed charcoal and sand for highlights. 'Canvas' woven from dry palm leaves.

I decided that children were available to even cavemen and I dare you to disagree!
I took inspiration from European renaissance and pre-renaissance angel paintings.
This was a very interesting experience both for the medium and for the subject matter I chose. Babies and angels are not a usual for me but neither are rocks and hand pulled grasses.

Created wtih rotten wood, dried buds from some trees that populate the area, a flower from another tree- unknown, weird spikey seed pods, and water reeds.

And spiders, the wood was crawling with spiders that ran all over me as I crumbled it to make that spiral.

And wind, wind that hasn't let up for months.
