I bounced the flash off of the ceiling so that the light would drape evenly over the subject. This is a friend of mine, lying on my kitchen table, breaking a bundle of spaghetti that’s been laced with corn starch. The camera is just below his feet, and the black backdrop is just over his head. Flash was left of the camera.PLEASE comment – what do you like about this image and what do you think would have made it better?
All lights were off and the last bit of afternoon sun was filtering in through a nearby windowThe use of bounce flash is what provides the illusion of lit bulbs(ISO 100, 1/160, f/3.5, 50mm)

My first attempt at this.
My boyfriend's kitty! Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTSpecs: 55mm, ISO 400, P mode, 1/60s, f/5.6, ceiling bounced flash.
I wouldn't normally use flash in this scenario so it was a good exercise! Many surfaces close together made for a challenging lighting situation!
