How would Picasso have painted Dali's "Persistence of Memory" or Seurat have painted Michaelangelo's "Mona Lisa"?
We've done contests where you are asked to replicate a famous artist's work with your own style. In this contest, however, we are going to ask you to replicate a famous artist's work but by imitating the style of a different famous artist.
Please include in your author's comments which artist's work you are replicating and which artist's style you are imitating.
Digital illustrations, sketches, line art, paintings or cartoons are acceptable (remember - no 3d apps). Please take the extra few minutes and list/link your references, as per the illustration guidelines.
The rules of the game are thus: In any style or medium, create an image that illustrates one famous artist's work done in the style of another. Worth's illustration contest rules. NO PHOTO TRACING OR PAINTOVERS. If you use references, list them in your comments. You'll have two weeks for this contest, so make your submission count.
