Panning a landing swan is one thing ... panning a race car whizzing by at 180 mph from 15 feet away is an invitation to break one's neck :) LOL. (Yes - I managed to get a Pit-pass for this - what, you didn't know I was a famous Press Photographer? :D ) I couldn't hear for about two days after an evening of this!

Locate a spinning tire in a playground; strap camera with a harness to chest on slow shutter; hop-in the tire and hold the chains; ask son to hop on too, hold the chains too and put his legs around my waist; ask daughter to spin us as fast as she can; ignore the bewildered parents staring at us; keep camera pointed straight at subject; click away! Voila!
