Well, summer is winding down and the kids are actually getting excited about getting back to their friends or making new ones, learning new things and fun new projects. It's an exciting time, perhaps new shoes and schoolbag, let's bring an apple today for the teacher. Every year I needed a new geometry set, I would always have lost mine from the year before.

Your task in this contest is to bring us some of that good old school spirit that the kids are just so full of this time of year. You can show them getting ready in the morning, waiting for their bus... or perhaps you'd rather just create the academic mood with the smell of chalk and a blackboard just awaiting the name of this years new teacher as in Schopenhauer7's wonderful image "School".

Hit List: Sports. Although kids do sports in school, we'll leave it out of this contest and keep that for another day. Recess activities in the schoolyard will be allowed however.

NOTE: Quality will be strictly enforced in this contest. So please bring us your best and don't be offended if your picture is disqualified.
