After many tries, I was able to compose this shot so that the set of lights are the focal point of the shot. The exposure was 2+ seconds which allowed the clear reflection and the lightness of the focal point. (Also please view full)
This is the Amsterdam Rijnkanaal, a canal that runs from Amsterdam to the river the Waal further south. The pictures was taken at night, during a full moon.I used a tripod and an exposure time of 5 seconds. I was experimenting with longer (10 or 15 seconds) exposure times that evening, but the moon was so bright I needed only a relatively short exposure time for this.
12 seconds exposing in a spanish road.
14 sec of exposure. A friend pass around me a flashlight. Maybe 30 minutes after the sunset.
I might have had to lie flat on my back to get this shot. I got some strange looks from people, but I think it was worth it. :D
