I swear to god, I did not shoot this image based on the contest description. I captured it (the water, the blue, the bleak) 2 days before the contest was posted, and I think it's dang near perfect for the theme. enjoy!

This is a candid of my little grandson. He had rescued a dove with an injured wing and was very worried about the little critter. We nursed it back to health and released it a few weeks later.
