*coughs*I just stumbled in from the Training Grounds, and I am aware that I am not up to the level of amazing artwork some of you guys here in W1K reach. But I had to.I had to enter, because this contest idea was the most wonderful idea I could imagine. I spent the last 2 days on this, and my family hates me now. But it was Worth it. :)The sources were monstrous. Have a look, I promise it's fun. ;)The original picture struck me as drawn by a little girl, and I saw a Pink-Princess-Glitter-Fairy-Wonderland in it - and tried to make it thus.I dedicate this to Feli and Zoe, the pretty li'll ones in the foreground, and all the little girls out there with their heads full of phantasies. May your pink Fairyland last you a lifetime, and sustain you through times of gray.

This is my interpretation of what I found in the child's drawing. I saw a little girl, a princess in a fluffy dress, kids in the background, flowers, clouds, sun rays sparkly swirls and grass. The object in the center I really couldn't decide on what it was. I decided that the princess would be in a garden watching over the children. The unknown object became a globe that allowed them to see their loved ones no matter where on earth they were. For the entertainment of the girl and the princess, fairies waved their wands and their magic made sparkley swirls in the sunlit air.

Um, well, I think it's either a wedding cake with three people on the topper, or they're barbequing small children...
The Red-Headed girls BBQ Birthday party was well under way when she closed her eyes and made her wish. Her fairy Godmother appeared and granted her wish....her friends can now fly! What a challenge this was. I tried very hard to stay true to the original piece of artwork. Thanks for the challenge!
Apologies to Madame Ava for the B2 bomber reference - I am sure it is not what this budding artist (and future Worthian?) had in mind when she made this lovely picture! I just saw the shape in the corner and thought it would fit... Sources from my own library and Google images.
I enjoyed making this, and I really hope madame_ava's daughter likes it.Sources.
