CONTEST DESCRIPTION

In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Raymond Fry, he provides voice-over (voice acting) services. It is a business that provides “the voice” you hear behind the images in documentary films, movie trailers, video games, telephone answering systems, education and training videos, television and radio commercials, audio books, etc...

The client is located in Miami, Florida. The design will appear on all company branding and advertising (i.e. printed and cd-rom business cards, letterhead, website, color cd labels, fax cover sheets, promotional materials, etc...).

PRIZES

  • The top entry that the client chooses will receive $100*.

  • The top voting winner will get 100 credits.

CLIENT RULES

  • Logos must contain the words "Raymond Fry" and the tag-line "PASSIONATE DISTINCTIVE COMMITTED". This is cAsE SeNsItIvE.

  • The logo can contain up to 3 colors. Earth-tone colors must used, think Autumn. It will increase your chances with the client if you include a black and white version of your logo.

  • Entries may not contain gradients.

  • The logo style must be business professional.

  • Your logo should convey a sense of partnership and commitment. The primary means of marketing will be via the web, e-mail and telephone, so the impact of the logo is critical for the client’s recognition of the business. The winning logo will represent someone that is confident, reliable, effective and authoritative. Keep in mind that because of the nature of the business, there will be little direct personal contact with clients. Therefore, the logo has a more-than-usual importance in selling the image of the company and its services. The winning logo will be one that is “instantly” recognizable.

  • The client is open to different symbol options.

  • No industry clichés or microphones may be used. There should be no depictions of people or look “cartoonish”.

  • You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.

  • Avoid using plain, block lettering or anything too ornate. The font for the company name should be distinct from, and larger than the font used for the tag-line. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.

  • Before entering this contest you must read this thread.

GENERAL RULES

  • Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).

  • Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.

  • Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.

  • Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.

  • Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.

  • The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
