Backlit from below and screened with velvet. Full view is without patches and much sharper.
No tricks... just 5 mirrors, a vase, and hours of fun experimentation. :)
The background is a roll of wallpaper - I cut a small hole in it, and lit the glass from below.
A bulb spun on a long exposure. Blue tint has been enhanced--I beleive that falls within the new rules. Enjoy.
