my first car was a '67 vw bug, baby blue, no rust. i named it sweet willie. i could do most of my own repairs, using the "how to keep your volkswagon alive - a manual for the complete idiot." when i sold the car, i gave the new owner the manual, so he could tell what problems i'd fixed from the greasy fingerprints on the pages. now, i've hit middle-age, and need external reassurance, i bought this baby. the custom paint job i paid a bundle for sure brings back memories....
