This was great fun!

Eastern Water Dragon.
This is a wild lizard. They live down by the creek near my place.
They are very hard to sneak up on for a decent shot.
They grow to about a meter in length and are never far from water in which they swim like a fish.

My brother says this is a Bearded Dragon. He has two of them and they're really cool looking.

This is an Eastern Brown Snake, who was a little cranky.

It took me a while to get close enough to this guy without scaring him. This is a cuban brown lizard. They are an introduced species here in Florida and they are driving out the native green anoles.

I thought he was asleep and moved in close to get a nice shot of his scales. He lunged at the camera just as I took my shot. I didnt have the nerve to go back to try again. Doesn't he have lovely scales? You can see them much better full size.
