A young boy named Max uses his lukewarm powers of imagination to transform his room into a magical realm of accountants, insurance agents, lawyers, dentists, and other mildly interesting creatures of the night. Max's resounding lack of any imaginative talent and his love of long division soon earn him the kingship, but he chooses to return home because his stamp collection may go to waste in his absence. A completely uninteresting book, recommended for your completely uninteresting child. He might love it or whatever, but who really cares?
