If a tree falls in the forest and no one's around, will it make a sound? More importantly, will it get back up again? Will it keep trying to ice skate? Start playing hopscotch? Rake its own leaves? Or maybe head to the nearest library branch to start researching its roots?

In this contest, we'd like you to show us what trees do when they aren't posing for us. Go out on a limb and show us the trees at their most active.

You can include other woodland denizens as well -- are squirrels and trees sworn enemies, or do the forest animals work for Treebeard and the other ents?

Have fun, be creative, follow the guidelines please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count!
