Sole survivor. A compelling theme, whether it's a solitary shipwrecked castaway, the only soldier standing after a battle, or the last man on earth huddled in his apartment before the zombies attack.

The rules for this contest are thus: For this contest, you are to depict an image of the last surviving entity of some type. What that survivor is, will be up to you, and we will be generous in the interpretation, but loss, tragedy, and even hope are historically the types of emotions that images of this type try to convey.

Entrants should build any fantasy elements of their entry from scratch using non-fantasy sources (ie. DO NOT USE multimedia created by another artist like:
Paintings, CGI, Renderings, Fantasy Sculpture, Photomontages, Movie/TV images or Toys). Entrants MAY USE photos of scientifica, antiquities and renaissance-faire-like costumes.

Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the guidelines please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count!
