But this contest is unlike other contests! Read on!

We have all entered contests with images that didn't finish as well as we would have liked. The potential for greatness was certainly there, but for whatever reason (say, competing against Norrit or arsidubu), the top three spots were ruthlessly claimed by someone that wasn't you. It sucks, but it happens. Now is your chance at redemption.

This contest is all about do-overs. Given that this week's theme is Animals, you are to submit an entry from any previous contest of similar genre (this includes Head-To-Head) that did not win any trophies or medals. The entry must have been in a previous contest, though. If you didn't finish it on time, or if it was disqualified, it wasn't in the contest!

No new entries are allowed in this contest, however you MAY rework the original entry to make it better. For example, if shadows were slightly "off" the first time around (and 20 people told you so in your entry comments) - you are allowed to fix them. We should stress that your entry may not be changed so much that it no longer resembles the original. Minor tweaks and subtle changes are all that will be allowed.

In your Author's Comments, please reference the contest your image was originally entered into. If you don't reference the contest, we've got to assume it's a new entry. You have the option of mentioning its final score and placement - that's your call.

As always, quality is a must. We will remove poor entries no matter how much we like you. You'll have 48 hours for this contest, so make your submission count.
