CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Awduin, a their company helps Canadian companies pay for imported goods/services in the exporter's currency.
The client is a small company located in Toronto, Canada. The design will appear on all company branding and advertising (i.e. storefront, business cards, website, letterhead, etc...).
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $250*.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "Awduin" and the tag-line "global treasury payments". This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
- The logo can contain up to 3 main colors, but it can have shades of each color in the logo. The client likes turquoise and some opaque metallic gray, but they are flexible. The client wants to specify that the color they mean by turquoise is Tahiti ocean bluish. With regards to Opaque Metallic Gray, they like the color of the menu bar across the top of the page at apple.com
- Entries may contain gradients.
- The logo style must be business professional.
- Your logo should represent trustworthiness (trust as in would you give me your money), reliability (99.99%), innovation (breaking stereotypes and being very efficient at what we do), youthfully speed to get it done (we are twice or even three times faster than the competition). They would like the customer to see them as an extension of their back-office. They are not a high-tech firm, but they understand it and are comfortable around technology. They are a new company, but have done this before!
- The client is open to different symbol options.
- No animals, buildings, people, body parts, maps, globes, mountains or money symbols may be used.
- You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
- The font must be easy to read. Nothing too fancy, Gothic or graffiti style fonts may be used. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- The client prefers Illustrator vector files (.ai or .eps).

GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) or high resolution photoshop files with all layers and elements intact (.psd), to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
