This is a beginner level contest
This week we want you to learn about contrast. Contrasting colors, like complementary colors, contrasting textures, like rough and smooth, or contrasting shapes, like curved and straight; there are different types of contrast.
Composition is extremely important this week, because we want you to create almost abstract photos, like in the themepost by CaptainMayhem which perfectly illustrates what we're looking for. Try to focus on the most important aspect of your subjects and scale away everything else. Looking at Minimalism contests or Abstract contests might help too.
Remember, "studio" means your shot is to be taken indoors.
