In this free contest, your task is to create a logo for Plime.

What is Plime? That much we can't say yet - but here's what we're looking for in a logo: A symbol of a sapling/small tree with a branch or two. At the end of one branch is fruit. Your logo should represent this concept in a simple, colorful way. Please note that this is only a recommendation of what we want - if you do something different we may still like it.

Your design will be used on all of the sites webpages and subareas. The top voting winner will receive 250 credits and the user whose design is chosen will receive $75 in site merchandise, credits or money by PayPal. 1 chosen runner-up will receive $25 in site merchandise. If no design is chosen, I may still contact you individually to create a new one for me. This could lead to future freelance jobs with Worth1000 clients & Plime as a graphic designer.

The rules of this game are thus:[ul]

  • There are two elements of the logo and they should not overlap each other: The symbol and the word "Plime."

  • The font of the text "Plime" should be modern looking. Please avoid Serif fonts.

  • The symbol of Plime should be a single tree sapling, or a branch of a tree with cartoon fruit (preferably a plum and lime on the same twig or branch. Other fruit types are OK to add as well. Each fruit should be a different color.

  • Ideally, we would like to see 3-4 complimentary colors in the symbol.

  • The logo dimensions should be square, if possible.

  • The logo must be entirely original. You may not use other logos as even a reference to get ideas from.

  • You should hold onto the vector art used to create the logo in case you are picked. If you can't create using vector art, then please upload hold onto your high resolution lineart.

  • Upload as a jpg, png, or gifs. Please try to leave some white space (about 36 pixels) at the bottom of your image so the Worth1000 watermark doesn't cover the logo.

  • This contest is being run by JaxomLOTUS. So contact him if you have any questions.

  • Worth1000, LLC is granted the rights to the 2 designs (that are ultimately picked) as works-for-hire.

  • You may not enter variations of the same idea as separate entries. Upload them all within one file please.

  • If you enter this contest, be forewarned that how you vote on other players' entries will also be taken into account when choosing a winner. It's sort of a karma thing - the creator doesn't want to pick a logo already tainted by bad deeds. So be fair.
