great contest! We must certainly do this again, as I have learned many things, and there are many more to learn.
Scanned black and white photo paper. This is not a studio shot. Technique used here is pretty straightforward. I've made a contact copy of the original negative and got high contrast (inter)positive on Agfa Ortho. Both are exposed on a classic photo paper at the same time but with a small shift. Finally, I've done some slight solarisation with about 1/4 of the usual light power/time. Surrounding white is even more brightened during print development. Very small amount of enlarger dust on the positive is masked traditional way, using very fine dry brush and retouching ink. Digital post processing: close to none.Camera/lens: Canon A1, 50mm/f1.4Source film: Kodak T-Max 100 ProfessionalCopy film: Agfa Ortho 25Film developer: Kodak T-Max RS / Ilford PerceptolPaper: Ilford Ilfobrom Galerie FBPaper developer: Ilford Bromophen
This one was a backup. Now wuite how I thought it would come out but not too shabby for developing myself I'd say. I'll explain the ghettified way I scanned it later.
This sure was fun.
