Thanks to this challenge posted by Kreative & Co we have another mind-tingling Illustration Revolution contest!

For this contest you are to make an illustration based on a character from a fantasy or science fiction book. You must not base your entry on existing imagery, such as a movie or other artwork based on the book, it has to be a creation by you based on the book itself.

In your comments you should briefly describe, or link to information on the character you are illustrating.

Illustration Revolution special eligibility:

This is an all-levels contest, open to all members regardless of other eligibilities. Close reference is allowed. Non-native Photoshop special effects-brushes and filters are also allowed, in moderation - do not overdo it.

Digital illustrations, real life sketches, line art, paintings or cartoons are acceptable (remember - no 3d apps). Please take the extra few minutes and list/link your references, as per the illustration guidelines.

The rules of the game are thus: In any style or medium, create an image for the theme "Fantasy & SciFi Lit Characters", in accordance with Worth's illustration contest rules. NO PHOTO TRACING, PAINTOVERS OR CLOSE REFERENCE. You'll have 19 (nineteen) days for this contest, so make your submission count.
