Where do rainbows come from? Why is a banana curved? Why do things fall down instead of up?
Sure... there's probably a long, logical, and scientific explanation to all these questions, but is that any fun? We don't think so! We want to see your version of how things really happen to work. Think rainbows being beamed from satellite dishes, zebras getting their stripes painted on, or tiny orchestras hidden in CD players as in the themepost by shlumiel.
The rules of this contest are thus: show an alternate explanation for why things are the way they are, or how you think they really work.
Have fun, be creative. Don't forget the cliche list. As always, quality is a must. We will remove poor entries no matter how much we like you. You'll have 48 hours for this contest, so make your submission count.
