The old, blind dragon looks forward to his visits from his only friend.... Mr. Rat.This started as a very rough sketch in a spare 5 minutes at work, and ended up getting out of control. For a small WIP of the entire image click here. For a slightly larger WIP that's zoomed in on the head area click here. View full if possible, and if you want to see it really big, click here (3000 pixels wide - 565k)
This is a Broo from a role-playing game called Runequest that my friends and I used to play many, many moons ago. It's disease-ridden chaos creature, normally described as human sized, upright but with the head and some other attributes of an animal (most usually a goat)
Pencil drawing on paper and scanned , colored by Illustrator.Sorry I don't have time to link my pencil draft
The swamp dragon lives beneath the surface of the bog, with only its nostrils exposed to breathe and its tail erect to resemble a plant. The tendrils at the end of its tail emit a scent that attracts its prey.Large drawing, had to scan in pieces so that killed whatever dignity this picture had.Ink and water, WIP here http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h291/SirThinks2Much/art/wipdragoncopy.jpg
Wheel of Time seriesMyrddraal are Trolloc offspring, but are throwbacks to human origin (throwbacks to the animal side of their genetic heritage never survive). They are tall and pale, muscular and serpent-quick, but they have no eyes, which does not impair their vision in the slightest. Despite having no eyes they are said to have the vision of eagles in both light and darkness. Myrddraal are most often seen leading groups ("fists") of Trollocs, and sometimes "link" with them to achieve even greater control. However, this comes at a cost - dealing a Myrddraal a killing blow will instantly kill any Trollocs linked to it, even though the Myrddraal itself will not die "until the setting sun".My First entry in Multimedia.

The KorriganIn Breton folklore, a Korrigan is a fairy or dwarf-like spirit. Korrigans have beautiful hair, red flashing eyes, cats' paws and are fond of playing pranks on humans.I tried to find something outside of the usual Fantasy characters and creatures. Please view full to see the detail in the image.
In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the beholder is a fictional monster. Resembling a floating orb of flesh with a large mouth, single central eye, and lots of smaller eyestalks on top with deadly magical powers, the Beholder is among the most classic of all Dungeons & Dragons monsters, appearing in every edition of the game since 1975. They are one of the few classic Dungeons & Dragons monsters that Wizards of the Coast claims as Product Identity.I created this for something else but didn't submit it in time.
This is Pokrak of the POD race. They prey on the living, ingest them, and store their soles in the bottomless stomach. Look carefully and you will see a skull-like form in this one's pit. Here are some Sketches that gave me the idea. Here's a WIP My own creation.
Just a pencil sketch..nothing fancy.Did this a while ago. I had to clone my signature out of the bottom right corner. Never entered anything in this section, but figured, why not.
