3 photos stitched together = water is hard work with.
The automated way did not work the way I hoped so I started over and did all of the stitching by hand. Which means I can credit myself when you like it ;-) .
Spider Rock, in Arizona, is a sacred place for the Diné (Navajo) people. It is the home of Spider Woman (or "Spider Grandmother"), who created the world. She lives on top of the spire and is one of the most respected figures of Diné tradition.Technical details: Canon XT, ISO 200, 1/400sec, F8.0, lens at 195mm. I took this set of photos using horizontal (landscape aspect, 3:2) images -- two photos wide, seven high -- and without a tripod. Final product at original resolution is a nice 5609x14147. Locked the camera/lens/color/light settings for the series, of course. Stitched together with Photoshop CS3, which feels like cheating since it's so easy compared to the old full-manual method and even other stitching programs.
