I made these in a jewelry making class. I wear them a lot, so I guess it was a success.

Another view of the necklace.

The flower was made using white cotton fabric, painted with acrylic paint and decorated with buttons and beads, as shown in the WIP

I made this with sculpey clay. Here is a shot of the entire necklace. I like this detail picture best.

This necklace is a creation of mine made from silver and copper. The chain was created from silver and copper as well. The pendant is hollow and formed by hammering inside of a half sphere and soldered around the edges. Then copper wire added around the edges and coming through the middle. This piece is made up for Jade from Guatemala that was hand worked into beads (not by me but contemporary Mayans.), Amber from South America, wire wrapped by me, and Bali beads brought in NYC. Everything used in making this Necklace was personally picked out by me in it's place of orign. This is a piece that I constantly remake as the mood suits me. This current incarnation is quite current.

This Amulet bag was created for a piece An Obsidian Arrow head that I dug out of a field in South America. The bag is Hand woven, Delica beads from Japan. There was no loom used in the weaving. The whole bag was created using modified Peyote Stitches, every bead is stitched to every bead surrounding it, creating a fabric of beads.
The Arrow Head isn't shown, as I just finished the piece and the Arrow head is put away for safe keeping.

I made this with a domino. See here for the backside. The picture is glued on and shellacked, and the silver edges are actually painted with nail polish. The little gem on top right is glued over a silver painted heart. It's a little hard to see, but it's cute. :)

I made the pendant out of 1 1/2 copper pipe that I split, flattened and polished. I cut the copper out with wire cutters and shaped it with a sanding drum on a Dremel tool.

The thong (on the flip flop) is made from 20 gauge copper wire, which I soldered in place.

For the necklace, I separated the individual strands off of a 10 gauge stranded copper electrical wire. I then bent those strands into the shape of the links using needle nose pliers.

The clasp is made from the same 20 gauge copper wire as the thong on the flip flop. I bent the clasp parts into shape and then soldered the ends together for strength.

This was my first time making jewelry. It was fun and worth the effort.
