CONTEST DESCRIPTION
In this free contest, your task is to design a logo for Power On, a IT/computer consulting and web design company.
The client is a small company located in South Dakota, USA. The design will appear on the website all company branding and advertising.
PRIZES
- The top entry that the client chooses will receive $100*.
- The top voting winner will get 100 credits.
CLIENT RULES
- Logos must contain the words "POWER ON" and "IT Consulting" in a smaller font type. This is not cAsE SeNsItIvE.
- The logo can contain up to 4 main colors, but it can have shades of each color in the logo. The client prefers the colors white, black, grey and green. The client would like you to include a copy of the logo with a white background, a black background and a green background (seen on their website).
- Entries may contain gradients. The logo must fit the color and style of their website perfectly.
- The logo style must be business professional. Something that fits in with the website design.
- Your logo should represent motivation, professionalism and IT.
- The standard "Power" button logo you see on electronic devices or an electrical plug may be used. Here is a screen shot of their website for design reference.
- You may not display presentations of the logo (i.e. business cards, letterhead examples) directly in the image file that you upload as your entry. You may upload these to your media folder and link to them separately from your author comments. If you violate this rule, you risk disqualification.
- The client does not want "serif" or times new roman fonts. A "blocky" or "techy" font is preferred. Please upload your font to your corporate files area.
- The client prefers Illustrator vector files (.ai or .eps).

GENERAL RULES
- Please upload your vector file (.ai or .eps) to the corporate files attachment area at the time you submit an entry (you will be prompted after uploading your image).
- Do not enter slight variations of your logo as separate entries. Enter them as a single entry.
- Fancy background presentation is not allowed. Solid color backgrounds, that's it.
- Please leave some white space at the bottom of your entry so the worth1000 watermark doesn't overlap it.
- Any questions about what is desired by the client may be sent to corporate@worth1000.com.
- The client will be granted the full rights to all aspects of the submission of their choice as a work-for-hire in exchange for the prize mentioned above.
