With all of the obsolete ED 209 carapaces, an enterprising cleaning company bought them up and equipped them with buffers and hidden pressure washers and aptly renamed them.

unlike wall-e, his second cousin twice removed on his maternal grand-dumptruck's side, spot-e didn't fare quite as well after the apocalypse of 2019. he was doomed to sweep the ruins of the world for all time.
